Nearly a decade across India's power, utility and steel sectors — moving from hands-on field commissioning to technical sales and reliability consultancy. I treat a transformer not as a static asset but as an intelligent, monitored one: the difference between reacting to failure and predicting it.
I started on the ground in 2016 as a Field Service Engineer — learning the erection, testing and commissioning of power transformers on-site, under pressure, with real responsibility. Over time my career evolved from service into technical sales, expanding my role from execution to ownership of the full lifecycle: inquiry, bidding, negotiation, execution and collection.
At Bharat Bijlee I drove business development across Odisha and secured a ₹120 Cr order from OPTCL, building relationships with industry leaders like Hindalco, SAIL RSP, JSW, AMNS and Jindal Steel. Today, at Hitachi Energy, I focus on high-voltage service sales and the shift from periodic testing to continuous, predictive intelligence.
I cover a transformer's whole service life — erection and commissioning, condition monitoring, and life-extension maintenance — for utilities and heavy industry. The goal is simple: catch problems in the oil before they become outages.
